Heaney often develops inspiration and ideas for her works through the medium of watercolor, whose fluid properties establish an ideal connection to the plurality of quantum reality. The two watercolors contain new visual compositions, sketches, comments, and annotations that vividly illustrate Heaney's research and creative process. Movement and breathing exercises are just as much a part of the experimental work creation process as writing, drawing, painting, and writing quantum computer code to manipulate and transform analogue data.
